What's a Kaffeeklatsch?
What: ‘Kaffeeklatsch’ is a German word for a social gathering of women where they gossip, or just talk. DoD Kaffeeklatsches are an intimate offering of our curriculum where 3-5 girls are paired with a DoD medical student mentor who guides them through the six-lesson curriculum over the course of 3 months. Lessons will take place at local cafés and/or the university their medical student mentor is affiliated with. All of the Kaffeeklatsch groups in each region will unite for Orientation and the finale.
